Hi people,

in this blog entry we want to give you some information about  what happened at the open house event at our school.

On the 20th of January 2017 the open house event took place at our school which is called “HTL Ottakring”. It was a special day for visitors to come to our school to see what we have to offer.

We guided the visitors to different rooms where other students showed  some experiments and answered the visitors questions.

We were excited about the many nice conversations with the visitors. In our opinion it was a great day.

Hi people,
today we would like to report on our open house event which took place on the 20th of January 2017. The event started at 1 o’clock on the afternoon at our school and ended at about 5 o’clock. The open house day took place so that students from other schools could get an impression of our school.

We had to guide our visitors around in the building and showed them some attractions. Some guests were pretty impressed and also asked a lot of questions. We also helped to set up the language room together with other students. We represented the school and gave the visitors some detailed information about our school.

All in all, the event was a great success. We think that the experiments were the best part of the day. Hopefully that we will get many new students next year.

Feel free to comment on this post! Hope to hearing from you soon!

All the best,

Hello guys,

on Friday the 20th of January it was open house day at the HTL Ottakring. In general, it was a satisfying experience and our impression of the visitors was positive.

Especially the guests with a migrational backround gave a good feedback. At around 1 p.m. we stumbled upon a curious family who was really interested in our big CC machines. The father of the family we were showing around was the head of department of another HTL.

So we represented the school very well and in a professional way. We think that the visitors had the impression that the electrotechnics-department would be the right choice for their child. The expectations of the family seemed to be pretty high.

The only negative feedback from my side would be about the snacks – those weren´t really tasty at all.

Thanks for reading. Please, leave a comment below!

Hello followers,

today we would like to tell you something about our open house day. It was on the 20th of January 2017. The Open House day took place at our school, the HTL- Ottakring.

Now you might ask yourself: „Why do they have this open house event at all?“  The answer is simple: we showed our visitors what we are doing in a technical school.

First of all, our teachers assigned us for a specific group. One group showed the visitors around the electronics and electrotechnics department.  The other group presented our projects. One of the favoured projects was the 3D- printer, because most of the visitors had not seen one before. It was in our computer room. The responsible teacher was Mr. Novak.

It was a special experience for us to guide the visitors and to present the projects to them.

We had a lot of fun with the next generation of students of the HTL- Ottakring.

Hi everyone,

today we want to give you some information about the open house event at our school.

On Friday the 20th of January the open house event took place at HTL-Ottakring. The day of the open house is meant for children so they can learn more about our school.

We showed some projects of electrotechnics to the visitors. We also guided the people who were interested through the department of electronics and electrotechnics. In this, we showed them some projects like Multisim, Arduino and Open SCAD. The visitors were very excited about these projects.

The best part of that day was the happy kids, because they had a lot of fun here.
